Sayulita is a friendly small town with dirt and cobblestone streets. Everything is in walking distance. There are pay
phones, internet cafes, a pharmacy, art galleries, and small grocery stores where you can buy anything you need to eat or cook
at home. Sayulita has ATM's and you can exchange your dollars for pesos in town. If you need to go to Puerto Vallarta,
you can catch one of the buses in town for under $2 each way.
If you rent a car, we found it best to buy a week's worth of essentials at Sam's Club or WalMart, before you travel to
Sayulita. There are numerous restaurants in town or on the beach serving great meals all day and night. Most do not take credit
cards. You can also buy fresh fish and shrimp from the local fisherman to cook at home.
Sayulita enjoys great weather year round. Temperatures are in the 70's and 80's from November to April. (See our weather
page for current conditions) You may want to bring a sweater for the nights that occasionally get cool. June to September
has a warmer, humid climate with light showers in the summer and heavier rain in the fall.
