Directions to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta

From the Puerto Vallarta international airport, drive/bus north on hwy MEX 200. Sayulita is about 21 miles (35kms) north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. Upon exiting the airport take a right onto MEX 200 and an immediate left in order to be traveling north. Follow the signs to Compestela and Tepic. After approximately twenty minutes you will pass through the town of Bucerias. After passing through Bucerias, Mex 200 continues on as a four-lane highway for a few more miles until the turnoff to Punta Mita. Make sure to bear to the left here.

The highway changes to a two-lane road, and heads up and over a small mountain in a winding and twisting manner with tons of curves. Watch for animals grazing along the road and slow moving vehicles. You will pass signs for several small villages. After passing through the village of San Ignacio, approximately 40 kms from the airport, a sign marks the turnoff to Sayulita. Continue the three kilometers into town (veer right) and all the way to the town plaza.

From Plaza to Casa de Mombo

After town square, veer slightly left and go 60 yards, take 1^st right onto Ave. Ninos Heroes after Bungalows Jaqueline. Continue 3 blocks (go past “Big Rock” on right side of road). There is the small market on left and AA Sign on the corner of Primavera and Ave. Ninos Heroes.

You can drive 1 more block and take a left to last house on right side of road. 

Or, turn left at small market, follow road up and around to the right; it turns into Calle Naranjito. We are the 3rd to last building on the right, #14 Calle Naranjito.  Red house with green trim.

As you face Casa de Mombo from Calle Naranjito:

-         Casita #1 is down the stairs to the right side

-         Casita #2 is down the stairs on the left going to the pool

-         Casa #1 is through the gate at street level

-         Casa #2 is the stairway going up on left side of building
